We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Security Specialist to join our team.

About the role

You will work alongside the team and the business to:

• Develop and implement security strategies to protect the company's IT infrastructure.
• Conduct risk analyses and security audits.
• Monitor and manage security incidents.
• Train and support staff on security issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security measures are integrated into all projects.

Who are you?

As an IT Security Specialist with us, we see you as a person who:

• Has a relevant university degree in IT and significant experience in network security.
• Has at least 3 years of experience in IT security.
• Has good knowledge of security standards and regulations.
• Can communicate and absorb information fluently in both Swedish and English.
• Is meticulous and organized with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and ensure their quality.
• Has experience in projects related to information security, such as implementing ISO standards and AWS/Cloud.
• Has experience in IT from an industrial perspective (preferable but not required).
• Enjoys collaborating with others and thrives in different teams.

Who are we?

At Scania IT, about 65 employees and several IT consultants work across four teams in Oskarshamn. Together, we create added value for Scania's production units by continuously improving and streamlining production with our IT expertise.

Our IT team in Scania's cab production currently consists of 8 people with expertise in areas such as business development, database development, and management. Our team has special competencies and is tasked with supporting and assisting other IT teams and the production unit in developing an efficient production process using their IT skills. The team is one of four IT teams at the production site. The other three focus on business development of cab assembly as well as operations & infrastructure.
